After checking into our All Star Sports Resort, we decided to visit Disney Springs for the second half of our day.
What a fun and wonderful place to decompress from our drive. We strolled leisurely and ate lunch at Splitsville Luxury Lanes. I hope when you make your Disney trip that you make time to visit Disney Springs and also check out Splitsville. It is a unique and quite entertaining restaurant. Inside are bowling lanes, games, and billiards. They offer live music and for the sports fan there is t.v. coverage. We shared an appetizer and entree. We chose the Dynamite Shrimp and Black Jack Chicken. The food was delicious and plentiful. We did not leave hungry!
The atmosphere of Disney Springs instantly brought us into the Disney time warp -where we remained for the days to come!
I must warn you if you consider driving your own vehicle to Disney Springs, don’t do so in the evening. It isn’t the easiest mode of transportation. I would suggest an easier and simpler method, say the Disney bus service, Uber or a taxi. Traffic can be quite heavy and hey, this is all about fun!!
We strolled this vast area, window shopping and people watching. As evening arrived, we enjoyed dinner at the House of Blues followed by music outside at the Smokehouse.
